Mother’s Day is a few days away, and you need to have the best gift for your Mommy! Please don;t go to the gas station and buy her candy and dried up flowers, and don’t go to the people on the side of the road and buy her those Orchids that only live for 3 days. Give her something that’s memorable and something that she can really enjoy and say ” My baby did good this year”
A gift that I think is really great is Tableware. Most mom’s love to cook so how about a new set of Dishes or pots and pans. Mother’s love these types of gits.
Makeup of course, is a GREAT gift, you can’t go wrong with this unless your mom isn’t into makeup, but hopefully she will after your gift. Last night the Met Gala took place in NYC , the celebs were out and they looked great. Viewers got to watch live stream on Vogue.com all the celebs walking the red carpet for the first time ever. I was back and forth on twitter and the live stream and my TL was crazy, with everyone shouting out their favorite dressed celeb. So here’s a few of my LM fav’s from last night’s MET gala
Chanel Iman looks beautiful wearing Tom Ford on the red carpet, her makeup was supermodel sexy. Her Smokey eye was the best eye makeup look, I saw all night. Chanel wears a smokey eye well, because she has small but round eyes so the makeup look just draws you in to her beautiful face. My two favorite colored dresses of the night were on January Jones and Solange Knowles. They gave us Bright,Bold and Sexy on the red carpet with these gorgeous yellow dresses. January’s was knee length and she did Red lipstick with her dress! While Solange in the same color went for a nude lipstick, I love the versatility same color dress, different skin tone, and they both are equally stunning ! #Fashion
Anna Wintour holds the #Glamour card. She IS Fashion! Editor in Chief of Vogue Magazine, Anna Wintour looks great anytime she walks onto the red carpet. I mean who wears fur in May? Anna! She is a designers dream when it comes to approval and she has inspired many stylist and fashionistas to live for fashion. I watched her documentary a few years ago and I was inspired by her hard work and determination to make the fashion world her domain and she had done just that!

This weekend had a lot going on, from Cinco De Mayo, to High school proms, the Mayweather & Cotto fight, AND the Kentucky Derby! I’m sure everyone had something planned to do this weekend.
I lost count of how many teenage girls I did makeup for in honor of prom this weekend. But it was way fun fulfilling their requests of matching their makeup to their dresses. Gotta give the girls what they want right?!
Anyway, Sunday was the 138th annual Kentucky Derby, and the celebs were out! I would imagine that Kentucky Derby is to Kentucky what Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is to NYC! High brow, high fashion, and more Christian Louboutin’s than the law will allow.

The ladies and gents really looked elegant and dapper. I love to see women dressed up, it’s Sunday Best meets Royal Class!
Cyndi Lauper looks wonderful! I love this dress, I like to see women wear prints. Her makeup looks stunning! She’s working a hot orange lipstick with winged eyeliner.
Starr looks beautiful in Blue! Her hat has a lot going on, but hey when your at the Kentucky Derby it’s all about making your statement RIGHT?!
