LM and Tween Girl Style Magazine

Early this month LM had the great opportunity to do makeup and hair for the new and cool glossie
Tween Girl Style Magazine. Myself and makeup artist Whitney Parker had a fun time on set with our beautiful teen models who were fun and excited to be apart of the magazines Bright and Colorful Fashion Issue. Stylist Tina Jackson dressed the girls in the boldest and most fun colors of the season, and amazing photographer Nicole Mitchum photographed the girls in the best outdoor light. Shot in Lakeland, Florida at the Silver Moon Drive-in theater the shoot was modern girl fun with a old an old school atmosphere. It was really hot the day of the shoot so with the makeup we focused on giving the models beautiful smooth skin and soft and girlie hairstyles.

Boldly Unique Model Casting tomorrow!

What’s up LM loves! Hump Day is here and we’re almost to the Weekend! Well tomorrow April 12, 2012, Boldy Unique is hosting a Model Casting call for their latest collection, Models come out to Taste Restaurant in College Park 717 West Smith Street from 2 till 6pm. Bring your comp cards, portfolios and most recent photos. Photography will done by one of Orlando’s top photographers Claude LaGurerre Jr. therefore bringing your A game is a must! It’ will be a fun time, so come out for this amazing opportunity!

Lipstick Mixtapes and Heel Hearts Campaign =Major Success

Over the last week you saw me tweet and post about the Heel Hearts Campaign that took place this past Saturday in Orlando, Florida . Well for those that made it out to the event thank you, what a great success it was and so much fun learning about getting our hearts healthy, our butts in shape and our makeup right! And for those that missed well here are a few pics to show you what you missed. I really appreciate Shaun of Dotcha i Artistry for inviting me to be apart of her vision and healthy heart movement. I must say I absolutely loved, loved, loved the Stiletto Boot camp by @YumiChic it was GREAT ! I am still in lots of pain but my legs will thank you later ;D. LM lipstick were a major hit, guest of the event were snatching them up! With a promo of 6 dollars for all pinks and reds for the month of February it was a great deal no one wanted to pass up! So peep the pics below and make sure to look out for LM out at the next event.

Lipstick Mixtapes gets “Electric” for 2012

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone looked beautiful and enjoyed bringing in the New Year! I want to thank everyone for the their support of Lipstick Mixtapes every time you tell your friends or come out to one of our events it means so much.

Starting the year off I’m glad to share with you my first editorial spread of the year which will be in Winter Park Magazine! I shot this with supper funny and amazing photographer Diana ZaLucky, whom I had the pleasure to work with before, and this time was just as great as the last! Diana entitled this spread “It’s Electric” and I totally feel that when looking at these images the clothes were styled by Orlando’s top fashion stylist Melanie Pace and the Yen Ryder brought the models hair to life! I’m telling you it was great being apart of this team!

The look was BEAUTY! Minimal eye makeup, with a strong lip and contoured cheeks. I love doing these types of looks because I can really focus on perfecting the skin and making the colors and textures I use stand out without one area being more focus than the other!

Last week I was very excited to work with the amazing ladies over at SEE Eye wear in Winter Park for Harriet’s Winter Park fashion week. Florida Fashion Lab teamed up with them again this year and this time it was bigger and better than ever. The fashion show was definitely one of the best of the week and the models walked the runway wearing new LM lipstix colors they looked beautiful so if you missed it shame on you!

Hello all well it’s almost that time again, just when you thought Fashion Week was over, swanky Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida kicks off its Harriett’s Annual Park Avenue Fashion Week October 9 -15th . Lipstick Mixtapes is very excited to be teaming up with SEE & Florida Fashion Lab for this annual event.
