So a few weeks ago Meagan and I did makeup for an event with Jamesson Beane of Dechos Resell shops, we had a great time creating a old school 50’s glam look for the models with a 2010 jump on it. We did a strong brow pink or red depending on the models clothes and the lip color matched (a lil different but we like that). Here are a few behind the scene photos, they do the look no justice the models looked amazing!

This Friday night our friends of Imdaparty.com and AntiqueOrange.com will be celebrating the launch of  both their websites and also hosting a NETWORKING event! Lipstick Mixtapes along with a ton of photographers, models, designers, dj’s graphic designers will be there also to meet, mingle and exchange business cards and ideas. So  as well mingled our way around we stopped and said hello to the beautiful makeup artist at the Guerlain table. With our love for makeup just know we were talking and trying things out for almost 20 minutes FUN! We were amazed to find out so much information about Guerlain products I have loved Guerlain “Champs Elysees” Perfume since I was born but I had never really delved into the cosmetics line.  Well now I feel a new makeup addiction coming on. O my goodness! Ahhhhhh absolutely beautiful. Yes for those if you who don’t know Guerlain cosmetics are Luxury in the form of color. The brand has been around for 200 years  starting with perfumes. Here’s us trying on illuminating complexion beauty beads and, and the best color glosses I’ve seen in a long time. And to all my brown girls out there yes we were considered in the color development process.

As the night went on we met amazing new people. Particularly  this older and definitely wise woman that made me and Meagan almost cry she told us we can do absolutely anything we want to  in life! She came to America with 5 US dollars from  Poland and was a scientist  now she is enjoying life to the fullest. I know that’s right, we love insightful people.
