Hello LOVES, Hope you all are having a blessed and productive day!
LM has been on the scene so much that I can’t keep up anymore. I have just been getting one invite after the other and I’m so honored to come and share my love for all things beauty! University of Central Florida hosted its first Rent the Runway event. Many of you have heard of Rent the Runway, it’s a website where you rent designer dresses for half the price! YES, I’m talking Marc Jacobs, Monique Lhuillier , Diane Von Furstenberg , it’s great! Here I am with Bianca Dottin she is aspiring accessories designer and head of the Rent the Runway event at University of Central Florida!
I was so honored to come out an speak to students interested in careers in beauty, fashion and modeling! I was able to share my insights as an aspiring MUA and also my favorite beauty and makeup tips!
She was bold and ready to come up on stage and let me make her up so I had to give her a LM T-shirt!
Katrina of Styles by Katrina was also a guest speaker. She shared tips on how to shop on a college student budget, it is possible to be fly without the expensive price!

Today I am doing a product review of an awesome product I have been using called TRUE Skin Cream. The cream is a body butter with a texture that is lux and light weight. My skin is more hydrated and silky than I’ve experienced in a long time and I am loving how I feel. When I first tried it I was a bit skeptical only because my skin is very dry, I wash my hands a lot and I must be honest I’m bad at moisturizing after showers (don’t judge me).
TRUE skin cream is pure all natural skin cream containing Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Jojoba and Coconut Oil. It is packed with all the best ingredients that skin needs to look and feel smooth and moisturized. The product absorbs really well into the skin, not leaving a oily look but more of a glow or sheen look that I love.

There is no doubt that Isabelle Thornton of Le Chateau des Fleurs is talented. This French-girl-gone-Utah has a wildly popular blog full of interesting DIY posts, photography, giveaways, and great reviews. Aside from being an awesome blogger, she also creates fun apps for phones. Previously her “Make Me Skinny” or Bon Bon app has kept many entertained as they edited and adjusted photos on their iPhones, and now I’m excited to announce she’s released an entirely new app! This one is different, and for Android!
Let’s face it, sometimes you spend more time with your smart phone than you do with your spouse, friends, coworkers, and family… You sleep with it, eat with it, and admit it-you take it to the bathroom with you! With Smartphone DNA you are creating a new kind of experience with your Smartphone.

Do you want to know what lipstick trends and styles are in for spring this year? No need to search around, we’ve done all of the research for you, and come up with a list of the top three that everyone in high fashion is going to be trending.
1. Matte Lips
Matte Lips are going to be one of the biggest styles trending this Spring. Why? It’s more natural, and makes your lips look fabulous. Just make sure that before you put on some of your favorite matte lip colors that you have dry, healthy lips. Moisturize and exfoliate those lips, ladies! The awesome thing about this style is that you can choose just about any color to ‘go matte’ with. Pick your favorite color and go for it! Here are some suggestions:
Red Matte: Revlon Matte Lipstick, Really Red 006
Pink Matte: Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Color in Pink Lily
Brown Matte: VIP Cosmetics Earth Matte Lipstick
2. Hot Pink Lipsticks
Hot Pink lipsticks are youthful, daring, and yes, they are SO in this spring. You can pair hot pink lips with almost any overall makeup style or outfit, and they work well in both formal and casual situations. The best way to wear hot pink lips, however, is as part of a mostly natural look. It’s a look that’s not quite natural, but, as the name suggests, almost. To pull it off, use a minimal amount of foundation, a hint of blush, and your favorite hot pink lipstick. Don’t have a favorite yet? Here are ours to help you choose:
Bobbi Brown Neon Pink
YSL Rouge Pur Couture
Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick in Backstage Bambi, Vivid Hot Pink
3. Red Lipsticks
Red Lipsticks are always in, so it’s no surprise they made our Spring 2013 list. Red Lips are seductive, fabulous, and the perfect color for a night out on the town. It just goes to show you that sometimes the most classic trends are the best choices. Do you have a favorite red lipstick or exact shade? If you don’t no worries, we’ve got some favorites to share.
Chanel Rouge Allure in Audace
NARS Matte Velvet Pencil in Cruella
What do you think of the in styles for Spring 2013? Got a very matte, hot pink, or red lipstick of your own? Share it with us in the comments below! We can’t wait to hear what you have to say!
