So I know for a long time we’ve been saying we’re going to do makeup videos well we’ve tried but editing them is so hard so here are some photos of a makeup look I did today on my friend Yakira Madani for her new website AntiqueOrange.com. She is shooting black/white photos with our fav photographer Peterson Guerrier, he did our photos for the Brink Magazine cover, such an amazing dude! Anyway I used all matte eyeshadows on Yakira, Ifeel that when photographing in black/white matte neutral colors are better choices. These colors offer more of a highlighted and contour effect so they will enhance facial features better. No shimmer or shine. Peep the photos and let me know what you think!

Makeup Looks for the BEBE Kardashian launch

So here’s a few photos of models from the BEBE Kardashian clothing launch at Mall @ Millenia. I did the models makeup, traditional smokey eye dark on the lid lighter to the crease and brow bone, with pale pink lips the girls looked beautiful. The clothes are sexy and sophisticated, strictly for a hot party with your girls or out for dinner with your boyfriend!

High Society Behind the Scenes

So a few weeks ago Meagan and I did makeup for an event with Jamesson Beane of Dechos Resell shops, we had a great time creating a old school 50’s glam look for the models with a 2010 jump on it. We did a strong brow pink or red depending on the models clothes and the lip color matched (a lil different but we like that). Here are a few behind the scene photos, they do the look no justice the models looked amazing!

I really like this video by Quadron they’re from Denmark girl/guy group. I love the makeup as much as I love doing editorial looks, there’s nothing like a clean beauty makeup with a sick bold lip color. I know fall is almost here, but we still got a few more weeks to rock crazy brights on the cheeks, and lips. So enjoy the song but peep the makeup.

“High Society” a Smartride fundraiser. We will be doing makeup for still life models styled by the amazing Jamesson Beane of Dechos clothing.

The look will be 50’s classic with a 2010 spin. It’s going be hott!

Behind the Scene of Indie Summer Fest Fashion Fashion

All work and a little play was the Sunday morning status of Indie Summer Fest fashion show. Yakira Madoni of Antique Orange was the wonderful hostess and she had her hands full getting everything all lined up, but everything ran smooth and she did a great job hostessing

With 6 different designers I came up with looks that would be beautiful and effortless. I was happy to have Harriet Medrozo assisting she did an amazing job and kept her work area clean (10 pts) lol. The looks needed to transition from soft, bronze, beach girl, into going out with my boyfriend i need to add a lil bit of color beautiful girl. We used some amazing products sent to me by Cover Girl, a skin primer, lipstains and these really smooth colorful eyeliners they worked amazing.

For the models with the darker lip, I wanted to make the look a bit more daring/sultry the clothing was darker, yet colorful I thought a pop of deep burgundy plum on the lips( Cyber lipstick by MAC to be exact) would bring out the eyes, so not much eye makeup would not be needed. I used beautiful black,black liquid eyeliner, soft skintone shadows and matte cheeks, the best mascara I’ve ever ed used by Kiko cosmetics, perfect choices.

For hair these guys banged it out we had Abby from Alchemy hair salon , Sarah and Danielle of Renew Hair Salon Jesse Yager of Shag Hair Studios… YOU BETTA WORK! I really loved the styles they did and they even threw in scarfs and layered braids to give the looks more sophistication!

This was great fun and an amazing team of people to work with. hope to work with you all again.

We almost missed her but Meagan and I had to stop this stunner. She looks GREAT! the print of this dress was HOT! We told you ever since “Avatar” prints would be doing it big this summer and here’s another one. Check the shoes killing it, the shoes make this dress so stylish, and trendy absolutely on point for this event as well as a club! but i love it more here. We love it when we go to fashion events and guest actually come looking like fashion, and she did that. Big shout out to Carmel for being another one of “Style ethic” chicks this week!
