Indie Summer Fest fashion show is rapidly approaching people! Have you marked your calenders and purchased your tickets? Lipstick Mixtapes will be at Stardust Video & Coffee in Winter Park doing makeup for local fashion designers Other People’s Property, Jenna Stark Dechos, Bella Sol, Sweet Boutique, and Bad Spade . What a line up there’s also a live musical performance with singer, songwriter Live Hart! So come out enjoy good music, see amazing fashion , and kick it with the cool crowd!

” Deconstructed Fashion”. Lipstick Mixtapes got to meet this cute lil thing last night at “Dechoes” monthly “Wine Down Wednesdays” in College Park. We had an awesome time talking to her finding out how she comes up with the ideas for her pieces which are usually old finds in thrift stores and she takes them home and makes masterpieces. The dress shes’s pictured in she found it earlier that day and made into a sexy wrap mini, I love it with the boots CUTE!

So here is the rest of the interview with Editor -in -Chief of DISfunkshion magazine

As an Editor and Chief what do you look for when choosing what to put in
your magazine?
It just has to move me! I know immediately when I look at something if
its going in the next issue!

Where would you like to see Disfunksion magazine go in terms of is it the
next Zink, W, or Vogue?
I think its its own monster. I would like to be the all-in-one
publication for young women!

Who are you inspirations? Jesus, My mother and Lenny Kravitz.

When are we going to see collaboration with Disfunksion and Lipstick
Mixtapes? As soon as Safi says so! Hehe!

this interview. I think the magazine is great it has a great message and
clearly you’re doing what you love. Keep up the great work Hugette.

Neiman Marcus & Wa restaurant

Last night Meagan and I had the great privilege of being invited to “Wa” sushi and sake bar in Dr. Phillips for a Neiman Marcus event that was incredible. Upon arriving we ran into our friends from David Yurman that are always so awesome and always decked out in the latest Yurman pieces, Fa-bu-lous! WA can I just say is beautiful Meagan has been telling me about it for some time now, but it was way beyond my expectations. The architecture and design was refreshing and I haven’t seen anything like it in the Orlando area.

So as well mingled our way around we stopped and said hello to the beautiful makeup artist at the Guerlain table. With our love for makeup just know we were talking and trying things out for almost 20 minutes FUN! We were amazed to find out so much information about Guerlain products I have loved Guerlain “Champs Elysees” Perfume since I was born but I had never really delved into the cosmetics line. Well now I feel a new makeup addiction coming on. O my goodness! Ahhhhhh absolutely beautiful. Yes for those if you who don’t know Guerlain cosmetics are Luxury in the form of color. The brand has been around for 200 years starting with perfumes. Here’s us trying on illuminating complexion beauty beads and, and the best color glosses I’ve seen in a long time. And to all my brown girls out there yes we were considered in the color development process.

As the night went on we met amazing new people. Particularly this older and definitely wise woman that made me and Meagan almost cry she told us we can do absolutely anything we want to in life! She came to America with 5 US dollars from Poland and was a scientist now she is enjoying life to the fullest. I know that’s right, we love insightful people.

We almost missed her but Meagan and I had to stop this stunner. She looks GREAT! the print of this dress was HOT! We told you ever since “Avatar” prints would be doing it big this summer and here’s another one. Check the shoes killing it, the shoes make this dress so stylish, and trendy absolutely on point for this event as well as a club! but i love it more here. We love it when we go to fashion events and guest actually come looking like fashion, and she did that. Big shout out to Carmel for being another one of “Style ethic” chicks this week!
