Makeup must have’s for the WEekend

So it’s Friday and you know what that means! Cheers to the freaking  weekend! Whether you’re going out of town or hitting up your favorite spot, make sure you have the hottest makeup must haves to blow everybody’s mind!

If you’re hanging out during the day or going out for drinks or movie night, I suggest wearing a look that’s  versatile!

I am in  love Lancome new Summer eyeshadow palette, the colors have a high pigment pay off and the texture is the smoothest ever. It literally glides over the skin like silk it’s so creamy yet it stays put.  The colors are perfect for going from day to night. This is the best thing about this palette the colors can look as natural and glowy as you like or as dramatic and smokey as you want for the night! It’s  perfect for chilling, out to lunch or getting into something latter on the evening ; D

No time to get lashes done then you need the best lengthening and voluminous mascara  ever and that’s Haute & Naughty Mascara by M.A.C! I never swear by anything but this mascara never ever fails me or my clients! People always ask me what lashes I’m wearing when Ihave it on it is the BEST mascara period!

Now if you are saving yourself for  hanging out at night  here’s a few makeup must haves to keep your makeup on point and in place. If you haven’t heard by now Urban Decay Primer Potion is the best thing for your eyeshadow life!

Happy Monday LM lovers, hope you all had an awesome weekend! I’m ready for a bright and busy week and I hope you are to! Well with January almost coming to a close and February right around the corner I wanted to let many of the LM followers know that  LM lends it’s writing skills to Gospel NOW magazine as well as the this blog! Gospel NOW magazine  is  distributed throughout Orlando Florida and it is a awesome Christian/Gospel lifestyle  publication.It comes out monthly  and you can find it  at most  church’s, restaurants and events  going on in Orlando! The magazine focus is  what’s going on in the Christian Community and highlights those involved on the Orlando Gospel scene as well as those doing  things such as outreach programs and community  initiatives.  I am honored to do my part by offering a monthly beauty column where I offer makeup tips for the beginners and all the good stuff everyone wants to know about getting their perfect makeup looks. For the month of January I’m talking about makeup expiration dates which should always be paid attention to because it affects the quality of your makeup. I am very excited to be offering my expertise and I look forward to sharing every month!  So if you have seen Gospel NOW magazine  in your church, or your favorite soul food restaurant pick it up and be in the loop about what’s going in your Orlando Communities and get some great beauty tips get you glamorous for your day!

The Look of Beauty…

I have had an opportunity to work with  beautiful women of all colors, shapes, sizes and ages and what I love most about working with women of different ages is that it gives me a opportunity to step outside of my normal makeover routine. Different women like different things, and most importantly women of different ages definitely like different types of makeup looks. It’s my job as a makeup artist to be able to cater to makeup looks of all styles and most importantly all ages. This week in  ” The Look”   I’m showing you makeup at any age and these are some of the most sought after Beauty looks for women in the 20′s up to their 60′s, so take note.

Colorful, bold, and fresh is the look of the 20‘s. This is the age wear your either into makeup or your not! I find that women either are all about a fully painted face or they want no parts of that “stuff”. In your 20′s is the perfect time to discover new brands and figure out what features you want to show off! Usually it’s the eyes for some reason 20 somethings are all about eyeliner and they can’t leave home without it. I love beautifully lined eyes but to much eyeliner can have you looking way older than what you really are. Opt for a soft black on the inner water line, or liquid liner only at the top and  keep the bottom bare. This gives you fresh youthful face but you will still  look Glam!

Makeup Easy…

I put  together a few easy makeup tips for you to start off your day, I guarantee  you will have little to no makeup drama if you follow them. A  picture perfect beautiful face is what you’ll have  every time.

First- concealer. Concealer under the eyes works major wonders , if you’ve had a long night out or you didn’t get much sleep the night before it can  be a instant wake up underneath your eyes. Most of us aren’t so blessed to roll out the bed looking like angels, some of us had a few late night demons and need concealer.

Second- Blush. There’s a girl that works near me and I tell you  everyday this chick looks like she had the worst night ever. I tell her girl! Let me put some blush on your cheeks. It instantly brings color to her dull skin and gives her an awake glow that she needs to make her look alive during a long day. So BLUSH is a must!

3rd told you I wouldn’t keep you long. A shiny lipstick or gloss. You had to know that was coming! Something on the lips is inviting it says I took the time to think about what I look like today, the simplest of makeup products can do the most impressive job!
