Lipstick for the Ladies of Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida

WE are the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida

and whenever we get together we have a GREAT time! We talk about the latest beauty products from makeup, nails, to fashion, and of course blogging!

Well this time when we met up, we celebrated the coming launch of Cult Nails Fall 2012 collection. While I was getting Maria glammed  for the photo shoot  the BBOCF were trying on the new nail colors, munching on snacks and trading blog tip and secrets.

Well I got the BRIGHT idea  to try out some of the amazing OCC lip tars that Phyrra NYX  brought to the shoot and I had so much fun mixing up the cool colors and applying them on the girls! Peep our mini photo shoot below.

A LM and Cult Nails collaboration!

Let’s do makeup with CULT NAILS !

This past Saturday I had  the opportunity to work with one of my fellow Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida for the new Fall collection of her nail polish line Cult Nails. Maria CEO and founder  is a true Lady Boss. She’s  beautiful, professional and has a fashion style that I LOVE! I’ve  posted about Cult Nails before I have 3 of the beautiful nail  colors one of my favorites is called  “Feel Me Up” ! The shoot was 50′s Flapper inspired so the makeup and hair were striking and glamorous. Maria and her uber beautiful daughter were the models for the shoot and although it was  their 1st experience as “real” models they both did an amazingly great job!

For the looks Maria wanted a soft and glowy makeup look and then we turned it up with a dark and mysterious look! Little did Maria know, but  both these looks are my favorites so I painted their faces effortlessly!

 

Here her daughter is wearing a mixture of gold and champagne color eyeshadow on her eyelids while a perfectly sculpted brow and  classy long lashes frame her face. Her cheeks are contoured softly for that look of innocence and the lip color is a pinky gold gloss.

I loved the look Maria went with, a  beautifully blended smokey eye. This is one of my favorite looks,  it just looks better every time I do it. Maria pulled this look off like a PRO! Once the hair and dress came together it was no turning back, a overall great concept and look that works great for the 2012 Fall collection!

LM attends Nail Polish Night Out at Millenia Nails & Day Spa

What’s up LM loves hope you all have had a fab week! There has been lots  going on in LM land you know makeup, fashion, and glamour!  My most favorite happening this week, was the ” Nail Polish Night Out” at Millenia Nails & Day Spa! Hosted  by  Talitha  Vickers of NBC WESH 2  News  . I met lots of new ladies that were just so nice and fun, and then caught up with my beauty partners in crime, Maria of Cult Nails, Margo of  Beauty and the Beat,  Michelle of BoldyUnique, and Mika of SignaturesofJoi.

It’s Spring LOVE!

Spring has arrived and aren’t we all glad it’s here?!  I for one am happy to be living in a place where it is practically spring/summer all year round but for everybody else that’s welcoming the warmer temps  I know you are excited.

Well  the time is here to  talk new beauty looks for the spring!

So lets update ya!

Bronzer! I can’t start without this. Winter means no sun, and no means dull or pale skin! Please ladies no matter what skin tone you are from the lightest to the darkest, applying  a beautiful golden bronzer to your skin is a must. It makes your skin look radiant and your skin will have the best glow. Apply bronzer to your cheeks or allover your face, use it to replace blush. It’s the best thing you can do for a great healthy look to your skin!

For the best look apply Bronzer that is a shade darker than your skin tone, it will show up better and make you look like your from Brazil ; D

Foundation! O my how we all love a great new foundation! Last week on the FACEBOOK page I posted that Burberry had come out with a new foundation line, well the line has been around, but what is new are the darker foundation shades! I am a lover of all things Burberry especially their perfume so I did a little digging and I found out that 4 new shades have been added Trench 11, Trench 12, Trench 13, and Trench 14. But like all lux things there is a catch, the shades are only available overseas right now, so unless you’re planning a summer vaca to Europe you will be waiting for these shades to come across the pond!

My most favorite thing to do is get my NAILS done! so that’s my next must have for Spring LOVE

Boots off Sandals ON! It’s time to get mani – pedi’s and a fresh coat of your favorite nail polish. In my case it would be Cult Nails, nail polish in this amazing yellow shade!

or White nail polish, which brings out a tan beautifully!

Last but not least, how about easing into Spring with a soft Nude lipstick! You can’t go wrong with that perfect nude, it’s the perfect go to color when nothing else will do.

Although Jennifer Lawrence from the  new movie The Hunger Games is a bit pale here, she is rocking a sexy Nude lip, so I can’t be mad at her!

I would suggest LIP or Esther from the LM lipstick line

LIP is a beige NUDE and Esther has more of a Pink hue.

Both colors look amazing on every complexion!
