Colorful, bold, and fresh is the look of the 20‘s. This is the age wear your either into makeup or your not! I find that women either are all about a fully painted face or they want no parts of that “stuff”. In your 20′s is the perfect time to discover new brands and figure out what features you want to show off! Usually it’s the eyes for some reason 20 somethings are all about eyeliner and they can’t leave home without it. I love beautifully lined eyes but to much eyeliner can have you looking way older than what you really are. Opt for a soft black on the inner water line, or liquid liner only at the top and  keep the bottom bare. This gives you fresh youthful face but you will still  look Glam!

So a few weeks ago Meagan and I did makeup for an event with Jamesson Beane of Dechos Resell shops, we had a great time creating a old school 50′s glam look for the models with a 2010 jump on it. We did a strong brow pink or red depending on the models clothes and the lip color matched (a lil different but we like that). Here are a few behind the scene photos, they do the look no justice the models looked amazing!

If you know Safia Michelle and Myself, or seen us in photos, its not hard to tell that we love eyebrows! Like really, the thicker and more full the better. “While makeup at the show was low key, the eyes and brows turned out to be the strongest part of the look. Makeup artist Lucia Pieroni, who was working on behalf of Clé de Peau Beauté, drew her inspiration from fashion designer Paul Poiret. She combined taupe and silver-gray Satin Eye Color on the lids and applied a gold shade on the brow, a hue that was also used to highlight the cheeks. A gray pencil lent strength to the eyebrows. Pieroni applied Clé de Peau Beauté’s Luminizing Enhancer Base to the face to create sheer, glowing skin. Still, the overall look was bare and boyish with lips that were kept nude.” (Mathew Evans)
