This is Shea Rose!

One late night while cyber surfing I came across this image of Shea Rose! I screamed WOW! who is she? Before long I was on her website and watching YOUTUBE videos of her sing and talk about her experience as defining herself as a artist and the love of being herself! Shea Rose is a singer who says she is Lenny Kravitz meets Lauryn Hill and I can hear that in her musical style, but of course you know what got me was this killing it cd cover. Look at her hair, her makeup, her body if this isn’t a artist saying I’m out here and I’m not ashamed of what you see, then I don’t know what is, this is makeup and hair as ART, one of the key things LM is all about. This image makes a statement and it’s not just about Shea Rose as a musician but also about Shea Rose the Artist and this has inspired me!

LM at Orlando Preimere Show

What’s up LM girls and guys ! Great news LM has made another great move, we will be on the scene at the Orlando Premiere Beauty Show. This is one of the largest hair and beauty shows in the US, and we’re excited to be covering the event. At the show I’m going to be searching for the best haircare and makeup products as well as the newest gadgets to add to your makeup and hair kit. I’m looking forward to attending workshops with celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson, the hair competition with Tabatha Coffey from Bravo’s hit show Salon Takeover, it’s going to be great! So be on the lookout this coming Sunday and Monday for post and tweets and pics from the big show.

30 Day Beauty Challenge

Well I hope by now you all have noticed all the random pics of beauty products, and me with no makeup posted on all my social networks! In case you’re wondering it’s because I’m doing a #30DayBeautyChallenge! Yeah my good friend Brittany of ClumpsofMascara.com brought the challenge to her Instagram followers and I decided to do it! The challenge has been really fun and I’ve been getting quite a few likes on my post : D !
Now with Instagram being on Android phones and the recent by out by Facebook no one has a excuse not to be down with the Instagram!

Master of the Mix-Jenny Costa

This Master of the Mix event had me all over the place this past weekend as I told you previously I did Jenny Costa’s makeup the beautiful Mixolgist from season 2 of the show! Jenny had a a full day of appearances and the Master of the Mix event at night so she had to be on point! She was very happy and satisfied with the makeup and hair looks I did on her check out THE LOOK!

You guys know I’m all about color so I did purple and navy blue eyeshadow on the eyes brings out Jenny’s hazel eye color. Skin is perfected with liquid matte foundation to keep her skin flawless and shine free while she parties hard. Lips are gorgeously nude with the LM lip color in ROSE and ESTHER mixed together! Blush is a subtle shimmery pink perfect for clubbing, when the strobe lights hit her skin she looks like a glamazon!

The 2nd look on Jenny was more subtle, this makeup was for day time events. I still brought drama to Jenny’s eyes with metallic gold and pink shadow with dramatic black eyeliner which she specifically requested . Lashes are long lips are nude, I chose LM lipstick in LIP for this beautiful makeup look.
