For the first time I got to experience what that was like. I’ve done things before where I’ve gotten up to speak to adults but 6 and 7th graders was entirely different. It was amazing! the kids were awesome, they were so excited, (probably high on sugar), but it was all good. I went to Meadow Brook middle school for their annual  Teach-In  organized by Orange County Public Schools. If you know or have something like this in your community I encourage you to get involved. It was so great to be there in a kids world. School has changed so much, the things we experienced in school are truly elementary compared to what kids and teachers now face. I was honored to be apart, the students asked plenty of questions about my career as a makeup artist, what I do for fun, and how much money I make. It was an eye-opening experience, I realized how hungry kids are for information and that they really do want guidance and to know   how to figure things out,  it was great to be able to offer some insight.
