Orlando Spring Nights hosted by Welcome Home Entertainment a 2 night event celebrate beauty, blogging and fashion. Friday night  was  High Heels & Cigars beauty & fashion mixer, local fashion & accessories vendors along with myself  had our products and services on display. I was excited to be apart of the event where  I did a live makeover on my model displaying a fun Spring time look!   Attendees gathered around and watched, asked  their beauty questions and a few were bold enough to hop in the makeup chair.

Orlando Spring Nights Fashion Event!

Welcome Home Entertainment is at it again this time for  Orlando Spring Nights Fashion Events!  The first official fashion event of Spring and it’s going to bring out the best in makeup, fashion, and glamour!  Lipstick Mixtapes will be in the building  for High Heels and Cigars, Friday March 29, 2013 from 7-9pm at Club 23. I will be showing you the best makeup looks for Spring and how to wear them. I love spring makeup looks  and I’m going to show you what’s new.We’ll talk about  how to wear fun colored eyeshadow, I’ll show you how to wear a sexy bold lip color and the best flirty eyelashes for your eye shape.

Many  vendors will be in attendance with their products and services. There will be  hookah service and fine cigars too. So come out  from  7-9pm  and hang out with us as we get you ready for Spring 2013!

Chanel Teardrops!

When Chanel does anything makeup, fashion or glamour it’s always top of the line. So when I saw this image of the makeup look from their latest Fall 2013  RTW collection I said to myself Chanel you’ve done it again. This eye makeup look is bold and perfect for summer.  I love  using one eyeshadow  color and this bright pink is just to pretty and the Chanel teardrop gives it an added edge!

 

 

The model is wearing natural  mascara without eyeliner but I would definitely add a lengthening mascara to this look! I know a lot of times women are afraid to try bright colors but catering the look to your liking is the key!

Rihanna and other Celebs do ‘No makeup’, Is this a trend?

Hey ladies

Have you all seen the photos of celebs trotting around without makeup?  I’m not going to front  I know I’ve been there, — ugly clothes, head scarf, hiding underneath a hat barefaced, — but the difference is I don’t have  cameras following me around to feel ashamed. So when I saw this on a  few of my fav makeup girls I have to ask, what statement are they trying make?

Solange started it last week when she attended a gala and appeared to be  dare I say…all dressed up and MAKEUP LESS. I said hold up I know you are gorgeous and all,  but where are you going wearing this beautiful dress and nothing on your face?!!

I am all for a ‘no makeup’ makeup look. These women and you my LM loves are all beautiful no matter what, but this just looks unfinished… I love you Solange but you got me with this one!

Fashion Week : Makeup trends…

Has everyone been getting their Fashion Week fix? I sure have! Top Makeup Artist Tom Pecheux, says the looks on the runway are red lips. This lip color never goes away, it comes back bolder, sexier, and always on point! From all the videos I’ve watched the makeup appears to be minimalistic and the beauty is coming thru naturally. Bold lip colors in matte bold pink at
LUCA LUCA and the hair at BCBG MAxAzria ohhh lalalala gorgeous slick back with long draping waves!

I live for this!
