The now multimillion dollar film, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, hit theaters this weekend and it is funny!  I loved the characters, I felt like I knew each of them. Kevin Hart is ridiculously funny! He will have you cracking up the entire film. Oh! Let’s not forget about the sexy Micheal Ealy, can you say DELICIOUS? (couldn’t get enough of him). But what stood out to me more than anything was the  makeup! Wow, the ladies in the movie look great!

Especially my favorite girl, Meagan Good.  She looks amazing in the film. I loved that she rocked one of the newest trends in makeup and one of my favs in the movie, silver eyeliner on the inner corner of the eyes, with a neutral lid color and nude lip. So glamorous, yet edgy!

In the image below, I love the green eyeshadow she’s wearing. It’s definitely a pretty look for brown eyed girls. The green makes her eyes pop! And her brows are serious aren’t they? She has the best brows ever!  Always PERFECT.

Also I loved actress Regina Hall’s look. Her skin was luminous throughout the movie. So glowy and dewy, she just looked fresh. The look was perfect for her character. Easy beauty for the woman with kids, not a lot of time to spare, but wants to look fresh. Her hair was long and straight, which I loved. Very sleek, showing off her stunning facial features! She seriously made me want to get a new hairstyle!

Don’t know how much I’ll have to spend to get this kind of hair, but with the look of it, I’m sure it’s worth the money!

Keyisha will have red hair one week and black hair the next! I love it Her makeup is always beautifully done and she’s not afraid to let the colors pop. Khole my favorite Kardashian, I love her witty comebacks, she usually has me cracking up with all the slick stuff that comes out of her mouth. Her style is way to fly she’s always rocking a killer pair of stiletto boots, and of course makeup on point!

Look at this lip now you know I love it! Bold colors are in ladies, I’m telling you don’t be afraid to rock the bold pink or a sexy red. It  great to highlight one feature, it’s not necessary to have a full painted all the time. More often a great lip color is enough!

This all too beautiful couple is just the poster child for relationships gone right! They have been thru the worst of worst baby mama drama, but every time you see them always smiles.

Gabrielle Union has the best skin I have ever seen! It just glows, like she’s lives in the Bahamas or something. I love this smokey eye makeup look, it not your typical black smokey which can at times look to party girl. Instead this is more of a classy and drama free look. Perfect for a date with your boo!

Hoopz girlfriend of Shaq

Hoopz is cute! I met her and she is the same height as me, kinda funny because she’s dating Shaq and he’s mui grande.

Her makeup style is lot more natural than the other ladies, but beautiful nonetheless. Hoopz definitely rocks a  dark eyeliner that brings out her eyes really well. Sort of a Cleopatra look really dark and mysterious, love it.

Happy Monday LM lovers, hope you all had an awesome weekend! I’m ready for a bright and busy week and I hope you are to! Well with January almost coming to a close and February right around the corner I wanted to let many of the LM followers know that  LM lends it’s writing skills to Gospel NOW magazine as well as the this blog! Gospel NOW magazine  is  distributed throughout Orlando Florida and it is a awesome Christian/Gospel lifestyle  publication.It comes out monthly  and you can find it  at most  church’s, restaurants and events  going on in Orlando! The magazine focus is  what’s going on in the Christian Community and highlights those involved on the Orlando Gospel scene as well as those doing  things such as outreach programs and community  initiatives.  I am honored to do my part by offering a monthly beauty column where I offer makeup tips for the beginners and all the good stuff everyone wants to know about getting their perfect makeup looks. For the month of January I’m talking about makeup expiration dates which should always be paid attention to because it affects the quality of your makeup. Your reaching into your super cute handbag that you got as a  Christmas present looking  for your itty bitty dirty makeup bag!  Yes I said it “dirty” .You won’t believe how many times a chick will reach into her banging Gucci, Louis Vuitton,  Chanel  (real or fake) and pull out this horrible and disgusting looking makeup bag and I’m like really you can’t buy a 10 dollar makeup bag and throw that mess in the trash. It’ss been dropped 10 times, so powder is all over it and you’ve got nerve enough to say I’ve had this thing forever, YES, I can tell you need to buy a new one and quit squishing up your powder brush inside of it, talking about it doesn’t “work” anymore I bet, it  looks like it’s been caught in the zipper 5,000 times. Ladies you got to do better when it comes to taking care of your makeup and accessories. These things say a lot about you and and believe me people do look when they see you at a club or restaurant and please don’t pull that dirty thing out at the table! Check please! Sorry I’m ranting so hard but I wouldn’t speak on it if I wasn’t seeing it, so go to Sally’s beauty supply  or Betsey Johnson they have some really cute and affordable makeup bags  preferably in a dark color to camouflage the nastiness and if you don’t want to spend the cash  you can always toss it in the washing machine!
