New JRandall Music Video “Eye Balling”!

Isn’t it funny how you’ll never forget your 1st? Well… We’re super excited because we did the makeup for our 1st music video shoot yesterday!!!!!! *insert a crowd cheer, fist pump and double wave*

We are so proud of ourselves and pray that God keeps us on the path to greatness. It was incredible working with such a diverse and open minded group of true professionals that trusted us to do what we do, without restrictions and drama. The artist was JRandall with Poe Boy records, a total cutie and a certified star so ladies prepare yourself for a new heartthrob. Sensational director Wus Good’s vision was so clear and he turned out what I am sure will be an amazing video. We learned so much! like… who knew all of the work that goes in to the production of these things until you are on the set?! Can I tell you Safia Michelle showed out on JRandall’s makeup?… child BOO!! Airbrush formula and some powder had his skin perfectly perfect =) And I beat the models makeup into the ground, you hear me?! We couldn’t photograph everything for obvious reasons so Stay tuned for the video that we will post when it airs and more pic as they come! =)

Dolce and Gabbana cosmetics has done it again! With Scarlett Johansson as the face and Pat Mcgrath ON the face. Beauty makeup at its best. Pop the top for more pix of the new ad campaign… *sigh*

Androgny for Transformers?

This is the new bombshell to replace Megan Fox in transformers: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley…. quite androgynous. A true die hard transformer fan like myself needs to see it to believe it, but with a face like this and body to match, I’m sure she wont have any problems. From an artist stand point, I love her face. Shes a palette: I can make her a girl, I can make her a boy and then we can go straight back to the Victorias Secret photoshoot. I especially like the makeup in these images. It looks like nothing but….. its a whole lot of something. It takes just as much makeup if not more to make someone look they’re not wearing anything at all…

I cannot stop staring at this darn picture. Miss Solange looks amazing! P.s. I told ya’ll months ago when Avatar came out that it was gonna inspire bold prints on clothes. Everything about her look screams style. Fresh makeup, natural hair, clear skin and the dress is impeccable. I’m not mad at you at all! She has me wondering about my weaves now…… I may have to get up on this one…. only 3 times bigger! lol ttyl

Hello everyone! We have been two hard working women. *Wipes sweat off forehead LOL** Between magazine photoshoots, meetings, fashion shows, emails and those wonderful “ahh haa” moments we get every time we’re inspired… we hope you enjoy the accompanying exclusive behind the scenes photos…

As many of you know we were published for the 2nd time in Brink Magazine for their May issue (INSERT A THOUSAND ‘!’)

We are so happy and proud of ourselves and what LM has been able to accomplish in under a year! I have attached several behind the scenes pix of our 2 day fashion shoot and the beauty images also taken. These photos didn’t run in the May issue for everyone else, so consider yourself a true insider! You’re so awesome!

We specifically shot this with the intention of showing beauty of all varieties. During the shoot we had the models tell what they found beautiful about another model of a different ethnicity. Women should be able to open any fashion magazine and be able to identify with the faces they see… even if we aren’t all 5′10″. After all, who is buying them??…

Makeup for Kelis’ new video “Acapella”

Hold, OOON!!!!…. You just have to love the theatrics of it all! Kelis has always been a little left of center so no one should be so surprised with the “out of the box-ness” in this video. The makeup is as on point as it gets though. Our initial direction was to do a “Get the look” for the make up to tell everyone what products they can use to achieve a similar look and spin offs of them, … but that would be a whole class (which we offer btw), but for now enjoy the photos and take it in. We are kicking off our month of makeup (June) early with this right here… because its effing AMAZING!
